Stress and burnout are two issues that are very close to my heart - as you'll know if you've heard my personal story.
So earlier this week, I was delighted to be invited to join the wonderful Paula Harsley on Radio Bath’s Business Matters, to talk about my own experiences - and to reflect on what I'm seeing every day now in my work as a therapist who supports leaders and high achievers with their mental and emotional wellbeing.
We explored burnout, confidence, the coping strategies many of us fall into that don't really support us in the long-run - and why so many capable professionals feel like they’re running on fumes and just about holding it all together. Towards the end of the interview, I shared my 4 step framework to combat stress and overwhelm - an effective, solution-focused way to shift how you feel in less than 5 minutes. And if stress and burnout symptoms are feeling all too familiar and you'd like some support that doesn't involve talking about your traumas, find out about how we can support you to feel better:
